$56 isn't keeping me out of the woods. Id give up something else in order to have the Hunting money.
$56 would be nice. But it is ~$56 for your hunting and bow license, $56 for your permit bow and buck tag, $56 for your permit muzzy and buck tag, $56 for your shotgun and buck tag, and $28 for every other zone you want to hunt in.

NJ has some great hunting and lots of public land spread around, but it is expensive. But everything is more expensive in NJ. I think you are going to see a resurgence of waterfowl hunting in the state.

Everytime I go Play Golf its $56.00 for only 4 hours of Playing And You think Its expensive to do the thing You love to do? Maybe you should take up another Hobbie Like Stamp Collecting[hihi][hihi]

I'd have to agree with a few others...more bucks for me...on a serious note though, it's kind of sad that after you purchase your all around sportsmens, permit for bow, and muzzy it's going to cost you around 200 bucks. A friend of mine just moved back up here from Mississippi and told me to hunt everything down there as a resident it's under 50 bucks. Don't get me wrong, I'll pay the 200 cause I love to hunt, I just think it's a little crazy.

how many scrappy bucks can you kill. i would rather shoot a bunch of does and manage the land.do you enjoy the taste of buck hocks? i guess you have to add some more 2x4-s to your wall to support all the monsters your gonna kill now that im not hunting the extended season[spy].

with golf you are playing on private land . they have to up keep those greens. you dont see them doing anything with the game lands. AGAIN its not about paying for what you love. its about enough is enough!. years ago they raised the tolls over the bridge into pennsylvania at milford and rt. 206. the people complained and it got lowered real quick. i guess your 56$ went to offset that toll. if we are not getting all our money back then technically fish and game could make up any price they want. 5$ to 5,000$.

I don't think it will ever sink in to most of their heads, and thats what politicians feed off of, sheep mentality.

Their is another thread on here, that hit a sore spot but I didn't comment, not to turn another thread into a debate, but some one made a comment that "they need to hurry up and get their buck before extended starts." Am I the only one that can not make sense of this statement? I myself don't get the desperation to shoot a buck, and that is why people will still pay no mater how much they raise it.

buckhunter ranted and raved all last week that he refuses to buy the extended permit and buck tag...well, he's out in the woods as we speak of course[hihi] i knew he was going to get it although rightfully pissed. i did not get mine because i was out once this season and doubt I'll be getting out again 2 kids and no suitable babysitter [wallmad]

its easy to figure out.we all know that hunting the rut is during the extended bow season. im sure we can agree that the rut is 10000% more productive in finding and shooting a buck than during the early weeks of the archery season for most. its not magic just biological science. no one comments on how unfair it is to kill a buck during there vonurable 2-3 week period of there pro creating cycle.i have questioned many fellow hunters on the subject of cutting back permits this year over the last few weeks. just about all of them have said they would not give up the season because its the best time of year to harvest a buck. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. they never said i got the permits just because they love to sit out and enjoy nature. they are hunting those weeks for the purpose of getting a crack at a buck. if your sending a message to the state that you wont hand over your hunting for premium prices as i have chosen you have to hunt harder in a shorter amount of time for a buck . for myself getting a buck is not a must but a recreational quest. if i have less time to do it i have to work harder in that shorter period BEFORE THE EXTENDED SEASON STARTS. THAT SIMPLE. if it was ever implied that i need to get my buck you are wrongly mistaken . i just need to do it before the extended season starts. i just feels its weird to say " more bucks for me." i just dont come from the school of quantity. not saying its a bad thing. i know several hunters in my town that kill over 10 deer a year.i never say how about leaving some for me. everyone is different.
