Beef what would you want for just the red dot scope, with out the mount ?

Beef I'm interested, just a couple questions.
You think it would work well on a my Moss 835 slug barrel using 3" or even 3.5' slugs?
What is the magnification ?

to be honest red dots dont magnify they are made for point and shoot. basically if the dot is in place pull the trigger. i used it for turhey hunting and it worked really well. if your shooting slugs i think you would be better off with a traditional slug scope in 2-7. this red dot does 4 differt mode as a sight it does a cross hair a small dot that is 3moa a large dot that is 5moa and a large dot with a 15 moa circle arounf it that i used for turkey it also is to color red when its bright and green for low light and 5 ajustments for brightness. this sight is perfect fot throwing shot at turkeys and buckshot because it is made for quick target aquisistion.

Some do not very powerful but some do. I was thinking of getting it just to use on that slug barrle as a back up or even for one of my kids if they felt like going out with me on a wim, or even as a back up for a buddy that may want to go and for what ever reason may not own a shotgun for deer hunting.

gobbler getter took the scope and rings......
the b square mount is for remington 870 shotguns in 12 guage i do have a 20 gauge mount also available say 40 bucks a piece... ANY TAKERS
