NJ DEP protects the state's waterways against degradation at certain levels.Bowhunternj said:John, what's a C1 creek? Just curious, never heard the C1 term
The DEP is reviewing the classification system this year ... maybe it was already done .... some waterways will definitely be added to the system, and some may be downgraded to category two. DEP wants the classification to be more data-driven.Category One waters are defined as waters protected from measurable changes in water quality characteristics because of their clarity, color, scenic setting, other characteristics of aesthetic value, exceptional ecological significance, exceptional recreational significance, exceptional water supply significance, or exceptional fisheries resources.
I've always said if you buy an ATV you should buy land to ride it on and tear it up to your hearts content. Leave the public land pristine for Po' boys like me. And believe it or not, hunting can also be good exercise.sounds like someone that is stuck hunting public land and doesnt own an ATV...
