Possible case of EHD in Edison NJ

Got a phone call from CatfishHunter today about a deer that was going nuts, bumped into the fence and and was bleeding from its mouth and then died..

he took a pic and sent it to me and asked me to post it, this happened at one of the schools he works for, he called fish and game, and i'll let him tell the story as he knows it first hand versus me talling it second hand

one of the school kids said he saw a overweight, drunk homeless guy with a slight resemblence to Mrs. Doubtfire in the vicinity, also noted that he was carting some lead and mumbling about not getting his share of brandy,,,,police are looking all over for him [drinking][ninja][wallmad][rofl][rofl][rofl]

In an unrelated crime the police are also on the look out for a flaming homosexual resembling chewbaca wearing a sun dress and heels waving pit passes around mumbling something that sounded like " ban her, ban her".

this person has been seen around the same school with a bag of lollipops and a bottle of ether..

CWD...???

Guys..come on. Please don't make unfounded post like this with absolutely zero evidence, or in this case evidence contrary the point...

All one needs to do is a 1 min search on the internet to find the symptoms of CDW, including the fact that it is central nervous system issue, to realize that deer that died with blood coming out its mouth did not die from CWD...

What Are the Symptoms of CWD?

Cases of CWD occur most commonly in adult animals, but also in yearlings. The disease is progressive and always fatal.

The most obvious and consistent clinical sign is weight loss over time. CWD affected animals continue to eat but amounts of feed consumed are reduced, leading to gradual loss of body condition. Excessive drinking and urination are common in the terminal stages.

Behavioral changes also occur in the majority of cases, including decreased interactions with other animals, listlessness, lowering of the head, blank facial expression and repetitive walking in set patterns. In elk, behavioral changes may also include hyper-excitability and nervousness. Excessive salivation, drooling and grinding of the teeth also are observed.

Clinical signs of CWD alone are not conclusive. There are other maladies that have symptoms that mimic those of CWD. Currently, the only conclusive diagnosis involves an examination of the brain, tonsils or lymph nodes performed after death.

JC did you even bother reading the thread obviously not cause if u did you would have seen in BOLD letters in the first post where i corrected myself and asked for a mod to edit the title,,,[confused]

i take it you have never made a mistake[wallmad]

I have made alot of mistakes...However, I have never written a post that...if it were true...would have resulted in the loss of millions of dollars to NJ sportsmans industries, and change the entire way we view hunting...a post that was obviously written without ever once even looking to see title of the post I was writing made any logical sense whatsoever...

The fact that you realized your mistake after making the post is useful...However, a little common sense would have prevented the post from being written in the first place...

i made a mistake and corrected it right away. some day hopefully i'll be half as perfect as u......

BTW...

If you wanted people to see that fact that you ammended your original post...you should have written that with the rest of your information at the top of the post above the picture...not underneath the picture along with the tag line at the bottom that no one reads....[eyeroll]
