Up to you. All you are gauging is what everyone else's definition of a shooter is...not your own.

If you shoot him, and he makes your season complete, i.e. meets a goal/accomplishment...then go for it. If you are shooting him just to shoot a buck...then I'd say pass and shoot a doe or two instead.

If shooting him would put a smile on your face than take him!! If not, wait for something bigger.

Most hunters would be very happy with a buck that size, but there are a few that would not.

DO NOT shoot him just because someone else might take him later in the season, if everyone thought that way than we wouldn't have any older bucks.

Shooter.! Unless it ias private property and you know he will be there next year But in my own oppinion we all have our own idea of what a shooter is and if you think it is a shooter to you then Shoot it and don't worry about what anyone else has to say. Great deer though either way

especially when the guns come out
Do you mean when they put their bows down to pick up the popper?

Some put bags over their heads, some don't turn on the lights and some get so drunk they don't remember which tag.

You can't be a trophy hunter and shoot little bucks however I seen plenty of trophy or so called trophy end up shooting what ever just so they can fill a tag.

rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl]

You never herd about putting a bag over her head? Don't turn on the lights your afraid what you might see and have to go by feel? Or your drunk when you show a tag because you had so many you didn't know which one was which?

Sorry it was supposed to be humor.[rofl][rofl][rofl][rofl]

There is no right or wrong answer. If you want to take him, do it and enjoy the meat and the memories. If you don't, let him walk and still enjoy the memories.
