My wife has a medical problem that has possibly
just turned worse. I have this young pup that I was going to train for hunting, but now everything is up in the air.

Possibly for sale ....

male yellow lab, born April 3, American "field" style lab (not shorter, block shaped English style lab), sire weighs 85 pounds --- this pup looks (to me) like he will be large; pup is bold, fearless and has strong prey drive; was exposed to birds, guns at the breeder; pup is microchipped

Sire (born 8/6/03) is AKC Master Hunter, NAHRA Master Hunting Retriever, CERF, OFA Hips Excellent & Elbows Normal, CNM Clear, DNA Profile; Its Sire is AKC Master Hunter and NAHRA Grand Master Hunting Retriever Champion, Its Dam is NAHRA Working Retriever

Dam (born 9/7/04) is AKC Senior Hunter, CERF; OFA Pending; both of its parents AKC Master Hunters and NAHRA Grand Master Hunting Retrievers (Sire: Champion)

Pedigrees upon request.

I paid a lot for this pup. Not sure what to sell him for. Been sitting at this computer all night. Just seeing if there is any interest here for a top prospect pup, before I go back to the breeder.

Thanks

Ok, what does this mean? Is he some kind of Borg Pup? [hihi] You will buy this dog! Resistance is futile! [rofl]

So very sorry to hear this. Try to have positive thoughts. Will say a prayer for her and your family, as well. Hope her health improves. God bless.

Shame you might have to sell, sounds like a really great pup. Good luck.

Hope your wife's health improves.

I may be interested in the pup. Let me know what the breeders is willing to refund & we'll work something out. I'd lke to see the pedigree so I could see the blodline cross. I could care less about the titles.AKC don't count toward hunting skills. the ENTIRE AKC hunt system proves good training for staged conditions.

Hopefully you wife's health will improve and you won't have to get rid of the pup.
I might be interested in him. You can PM me when you get a idea of what you want for him. Take care!

t means it has a small microchip in it's ear so if the dog gets lost and you register the chip with the AKC your info will match the chip and you will get your dog back
Thats so cool. [up]

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. Things have dramatically improved over the last few days.

I now know how it feels to hear a medical diagnosis you did not expect. It hits you like a ton of bricks.

We are keeping the pup .... we have extended family members staying with us, helping out.

I did check with the breeder, and they offered to take the pup back with full refund. They also offered to keep the pup for a while and take care of him for me, until things improved at home. It pays to deal with a quality breeder.

Thanks again.
