Invest in a tree umbrella!
i have owned one of those for like 20 years now. the warden probly give you a ticket for screwin it in the tree the way this state is. i have hubted plenty in the rain. for me its more miserable than its worth. off n on or sprinle is one thing. heavy rain all day like wht there sayin means game will be bedded. at least in the old days the orange army would be pushin so you might have a chance. now adys the parking lots are emptee. im taking off work but i will more than likely sit end of the day. also when the deer get wet there hides blend in so well that one second you see nothing then blammo there on top of you and on alert. scares the beegeezuss outta me.,

I have a treestand you would not believe at my parents property. sliding windows heat electrical cord run out to it. Nice wicker chair . I do not hunt it often but if very cold i plug a small heater in and relax. Works good almost water tight too

at least it will be 55 degrees and not freezing thats why they make rain gear.
go to it! when the dew point and rain hit the same youll sweat up a storm. yull end up wetting out inside your gear and you think your rain suit is leaking lol.... the real+ hardnose guides wear wool in the rain. wet but warm. dont even think about busting brush with most rain gear they make these days. the plastic or rubber ones from wally worlds if you squat down you split your britches and get instants ventolations.fancy rain gear use pit vents that i like. but if its pouring youll never dump heat fast enough. i envvy the private land guys. dont thiunk i could hunt in a box blind. i need to have my sences. to be able to hear and see 360 degrees. i get all weirdded out when i wear a full face mask cause my cense of hearing gets cloggy.

You still can.

I have three ground blinds set up and ready to go. I also have a tree umbrella handy if I decide to hunt any place different than the ground blinds. Not sitting home because of rain.
100% you wont get a deer from home.
100% you will get wet hunting in the rain. But with the chance of getting a buck.

I will be doing option #2.
