WTB .223/5.56 Rifle

I’m searching for an AR that shoots .223/5.56.
I do not want one that has a fixed front sight.
But I’m not sure exactly which gun I want,
therefore let me know what you have and I will do some research and get back to you.

Iam located in Cape May County
Local is a plus but I’m willing to drive for the right gun

Baconbits, I assume you will mount a scope since you dont want fixed sights? Maybe you could find a package deal on one with whatever sighting system you want and save a few bucks?
I bought one off a member here and it turned out to be a great shooter all set up and ready to go. After that one i had the bug and built a few. ( assembled some parts I am no AR specialist)
Maybe if you are more specific someone will have exactly what you want.

Looking for something like a smith and Wesson m&p or something of a higher quality. Not exactly sure which kind but I want it to shoot .223 5.56
If anyone has one for sale let me know what you got, I’ll check it out online and get back to you

Baconbits it depends on how nice you want. A custom rifle can have $2000 in it easy.
I have trigger group. .223 Wylde custom barrel, Leupold $600 scope . Thats about $1700 in add ons to a $600 rifle.
Maybe you could start with an M&P new and add as you go?
