I personally am not making a video but a friend of mine is.
I've been reluctant to post much about it since I'm not sure if advertising it would violate any rules of this forum. But since you asked and others may be interested...Here's the scoop...
A friend of mine, who was a cameraman for 'RedHawk Outdoors' (use to air on the Outdoor Channel) Has started his own outdoor video production company.
It is called 'Droptine Productions'. He video taped some Turkey Hunts last year and produced his first video 'Turkey Tales Vol.I'. He got in touch with me towards the end of the season last year and wanted to get some more hunts on film. Every time he went with me, I never killed a bird. But we got some good footage Including a Hen Strutting(It's on the video)
I was also concentrating on getting Brenda(my sweety) a Bird. On the last Saturday she killed a nice Gobbler and he got it on video. It made the cut for Vol. I.
This year he started taping for'TurkeyTales Vol.II'
He went with me on numberous times and we got four of my kills on video and two misses.
In all he has 10 succesful hunts on film for this year, including a youth hunt which was the first bird for the young man [up]. One of my 'SmokePole' gobblers, Another hunter that killed a whooper with limbhanger spurs. and lots of great footage. Besides the 10 kills, He has footage of some misses, One with me and the Smokepole, I rolled the Gobbler at 32 yards and it got up and flew away.(obviously NO second shot with a front stuffer) Another miss was with Brenda and I, Two longBeards were coming right at us and I thought for sure we were gonna get a double. Brenda missed her Gobbler and the one that I had a bead on flew right away. Her bird, walked behind a huge oak tree and I was ready to shoot when it walked out the other side...It RAN AND FLEW OUT FROM BEHIND THE TREE and I missed it also!!!
Another hunt was with a friend of mines wife, She had 13 jakes in front of her at 20 yards and she didn't shoot...She wanted a LongBeard.!!(Great Footage ).
He hasn't started to edit the video yet and I don't think he will have it ready to produce till some time this fall but it should be good. He has some top notch editing software and I think he did a great job on 'Turkey Tales Vol.I'
His first video is on sale in some of the local Sportshops or it can be purchased on his website.
Check it out at

You can see pics of the successful hunts on the News/Products page. Info of the team members can be found by clicking on the pics in the 'Meet the team 'page. If you want to see previews of 'Turkey Tales Vol.I' go to the video clips page.
You may also want to enter his GameCamera Pic contest and get a chance to win a copy of 'Vol.I'
If anyone would like to purchase a copy of 'Vol.I' I'm sure he would appreciate it. He (and his step-brother) are just starting out and would love to get their feet on the ground. Someday they may even seek sponsers and start a national T.V. show. He has some connection from being involved with 'RedHawk Outdoors'.
That's the scoop..
