Where’s everyone headed for the opener? I usually hit Shadlers Sand Wash in Salem County by my son has opening ceremonies for baseball. Won’t be there til Sunday. Gonna miss all the guys decked out in LLbean gear using mealworms with fly rods!

Ill be at grenloch. Just for tradition. My father has been taking me there since i was 8. Now i take my kids. Last few the bite has been slow. Hope we all limit out.

i use to go to Mohawk pond but the sounds of the power tranformers and shoreline goose poop got to be too much.this is the week for fly and release fishing. good luck fellas!
Not on Opening Day. But up to the day before, like they are telling you. What don't you understand??
april 7th is opening day right ? And the website says from 3/19 - 4/7, not 4/6. Just found it odd. Been fishing this place for about 10 years now, and its usually stocked by now. Pemberton lake wasnt stocked yet either, and thats usually stocked early.

Not trying to be sarcastic or anything, just curious, how can you tell whether or not a pond or lake has been stocked unless you were there or know someone who was to see it happen?

they put up the signs they say trout stocked waters with closure and opening dates on them.
no, it hasnt been stocked yet, or i would have, dammit [ko]
