I will be trapping state land and have no problem with that, But want som e priavate land for cage traps. They seeem to get stolen on state land if they are found

what are you trapping? if i was a trapper i would go to some farms and ask them if i could trap and take them away . i think it might be help full to them . it is not like us[confused]ing a gun

2 bad i have land in warren that needs 2 be traped
What do you want taken out? I have hounds for the raccoons. I control trap some semi wilds for fox/yotes over your way. I could swing by & set up for a week & clean them out.
I'll solve your predator problem for permission to ****, goose & turkey hunt.

I know the location of several beaver ponds. From a competitive point of view I will never give them up to a trapper. I have nothing against trapping I just need the beaver ponds for waterfowl hunting.

The year before last I found an awesome beaver pond on Flatbrook WMA. I was fired up for duck & goose hunting there in the standing timbers. I went there last Sept to set up for geese and the pond was gone! The beavers were gone. My assumption is that either a trapper or a predator got the beavers and the dam colapsed. That is the second time that has happened to me. The other time was on the Wanaque WMA about 10 years ago.

I think I mentioned the Flatbrook beavers on this site. I now have another beaver pond to hunt, but I will not say where it is.

You have to remove some beaver from ponds/swamps or they will back flood themselves out. the trees & brush die from the dammed up water. So the beaver move farther & farther up the valley for green trees.
Now when doing control for the timber companies down south THEY WANT EVERYONE GONE! & that's what they pay me for.

I don't disagree I just selfishly want to use the ponds for duck hunting

Not that good, so far I only have my father-in-laws farm which is in your area. But don't worry I know no one should be trapping it.

stiks
if you need help making snares, or want to buy some look me up. if your getting into some beaver adc work. contact Wess (gloc. CO) or Tracy (salem CO) they could help you. but they both also trap. i have 50 snares dying now, and finishing the next 50 this week. probably making another 100 snares and 60 more 8' extentions before the season. here's on tip

make your snares or extentions. one cycle soap, one baking soda, then dye. forget boiling!
