Alaska has whitetails?
No whitetails... but they do have deer. Sitka blacktail deer. It's $150 for a non-resident deer tag.

The governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, has a letter in the 07/08 AK Hunting Regs handbook that starts off by saying, "Dear Fellow Hunter". Nice to see a state that has a governor calling themselves a hunter [up]. I seriously doubt that Corzine would ever call himself a hunter.

I would go to Delaware County NY. My family has hunting land there and the beaver kill is 10 minutes away. I'd like to find a small town full of real down to earth people in it. The kind of town that shuts down during high school football games and helps it's neighbors when their in trouble. I'd like to live the semi simple life.

No no no, you aren't understanding. This isn't the best place for EACH, this is the best place for ALL of the above! :D

A buddy of mine contacted the Wensel brothers and asked them this same question, but strictly about whitetails. They told him Montana, hands down.
He immediatley packed up his wife and kids and moved there without giving it a second thought. He's been there 10 years now.

AS you know Cats over the edge any way but I'm serious about this and been thinking about going to South American to do Misionary work with head hunters. Yep thats correct man eatters to preach the gospel to ran forest Guarani Indians. It would be an experiance for sure. Been thinking about it for a year now.
