So now what for the NRA?

The NRA spokesperson said they have 5 million members. I wonder if it's true. Either way, it's a very small minority of the population. NRA's strength comes from buying politicians. But when they get shamed at town halls like Marco Rubio, they are going to think twice about it in the future. My Gun Club stopped supporting the NRA many years ago. We were getting ripped off for Liability Insurance too. Republicans like George H W Bush have resigned their life memberships. Big Republican donors are threatening to withhold support if Politicians don't change their stance on issues. As long as the Gun Manufacturers keep paying the NRA they will survive. The top executives combined salaries are around $5 million per year. That's a lot of memberships.

Buying politicians? Rubio, for example was given about 9K. That is NOTHING compared to how much money they take in during a campaign.

I would never join a gun club that's not a member of the NRA. That's just a club full of leaches.

What's next for the NRA? 6 Million members....

It is Way Beyond time for this country to realize that restricting actions and availability do not work. It's blatantly obvious but there is one constant with all laws that are broken no matter what the law eventual consequences our our jails and penal system. It is no longer in an effective deterrent to crime. Back in the day when we grew up and we were sent to our rooms for doing something wrong there was no television no phone no contact. Today we send criminals that Prey Upon our society to a heated room with three hot meals a day Television Internet education Medical Care with no cost born by these convicted persons. It's like they've been sent on a big conference where they congregate with like-minded individuals and become stronger smarter and healthier to be eventually turned loose upon Society where they really commit their crimes again and again. It is way be on time to rethink our penal system it needs to become a little less comfortable a little less convenient and a lot less Pleasant it is not going to affect anyone at all that isn't a repeat offender. Watch these television shows called Locked Up Abroad. Look at the way those persons are treated and conditions they are subjected to. Those persons if they get out have learned a strong lesson not to commit that crime or any other crimes again. They also share their stories with persons on the outside if they get out at all. We need to stand up as a people and pass the word don't restrict my ability to enjoy life the way I choose to As long as I do so within the laws. We don't need more law we need tougher consequences


Feel free to add to this and pass it along we need a 100% movement to get behind these ideas spread them and get politicians to open their eyes and ears and take a long hard look and truly make a difference.
In the case of this piece of shit in Florida that just killed these 17 people there is no more alleged shooter bullshit they saw him do it he admitted to it take him as a federal prisoner and execute him within 7 Days finding the least Pleasant form of legal execution currently on the books and apply it to him and televise it as a note to anyone thinking along the same lines. Enough is enough it's time to stand up and punish those with no respect for Life law or Liberty

Yes true they have about 5 million members think about how strong we would be if even half of the estimated 75 million gun owners joined. Strength in numbers. People say well they dont do anything for my state well they have limited funds and have to fight the fights they have a chance at winning and hopefully set precedents which can be used in other cases. They need everyone of us now more than ever anyone who doesnt belong wake up and do it now if you do belong renew early. Also another organization in dire need of members is the NJ2A's i renewed early and got a friend to join recently please support them they also need us now more than ever.
