He actually admires Jerry Brown. California is an utter disaster fiscally, criminally and socially. Violent crime is uncontrollable despite the gun control lunacy. They ( Like NJ ) are billions in debt and illegals run amok with more say and rights then citizens. Murphy capitalized on Christie's dislike, inner city and some suburban ignorance ( and elitism ) impossible promises and that more people in Jersey either work for government or leech from it then are currently in the private sector. He promised to fully fund the states pension program which brought out the union vote ( Please not a condemnation of union members ) unfortunately this is impossible given that it has been a piggy bank for the state for years and years.
Promising to legalize pot, which is a proven gateway drug ( of course not for everyone ) in a state suffering from drug addictions at every economic level is akin to the Roman and it's utter failure. In but a few short years NJ will be an utter middle class wasteland just like Browns California. Truly sad.

I blame the repubicans. CC was allowed to be a complete dork. Bridgegate, give me a break and then the closed beach optic. There was no way Guandano would win. They strapped CC on her back and had a good laugh when she tried to carry is lard ass across the finish. Thankfully I'm very close to retirement and can't wait to see Welcome to some other state in my windshield.

According to my Mother-in Law who it should be noted is a rather religious woman, we are in for both. In a state where corruption is rampant, taxes are out of reason, etc. It is so comforting
to see that the first thoughts out of the Governor elect are in regards to legalizing pot! Again in a state currently undergoing an opioid epidemic. I realize this is fertile ground for argument but after many years of practice in the medical field I can assure that for many pot is a gateway drug which this state and country really do not need at this time. But of course it is all about revenue and feeding the never ending fiscal thirst of Trenton. Again NJ is pathetic.

Great state. Still has that frontier feel although I would avoid Jackson where the beautiful people tend to collect. Any state with more cattle then people is just fine.
