no room for spot burners, i bet he plans on hunting every inch of it.Guys take it easy. Walpack is 24 square miles. Lots of places to hang a treestand. Good luck 119alt!!
Well got back down off the mountain about 1 hr ago, phone died ! Well have some cool pictures will post, 2nd time I hunted this spot, full moon all bad ! I'm not worried about people knowing approximately where I hunt, unfortunately most people would flip over trying to get up here ! Hardly anyone hunts up here anymore, I don't mind if they do, could always use help getting these 200 pounders out of here ! Good Luck !That was me in the chopper trying to locate your spot, lol.
Love your pictures, keep them coming

That wasn't transmission fluid, 5 cups of coffee in me, you guess what happens??.
I'm sure I'll bump into u one day. I'm on the other mountain,
Yes, there is so much land that if you aren't seeing a lot of deer you just move your stand 200 yds a whole new ball game ! I have 3 lock ons up now between 1500 and 1600 ft elevation, I walk to them from my house and it takes minimum 1 hour and my property borders the DWGNPS land, if you were to drive around and park a car at one of the lots it would take about 2 hrs to walk in , some of the land easy to access some not so not ! One of my stands is about 200 yds from the Appalachian Trail, I never see any one but I hear people on the AT talking, sound Carrys at the top ! I get up in my stands and have a blast, if your quiet and scent free you have an amazing time watching bears and deer walking under you ! Brought a buddy up there for 6 day gun 3 years ago, I put him in one of my stands and he shot a beautiful 9 ptr buck of a lifetime , took us (3 guys) 3hrs to get the deer down, he thanked us and said that was the hardest he hunted in his life and said he won't be coming back, well he hasn't hunted since then, I think he retired! Well if your a hiker first and hunter second it's one of the coolest places in them thar hills of North West NJ ! Good Luck !I was gonna say, pretty hard to spot burn walpack unless you post exact coordinates or you only walk 40 yards from the truck. I have NEVER seen a single guy where i bowhunt there and deer act like real deer. Love it
