Went up to the Upper Saddle river this afternoon.
Took my micro-light mini trout pole.
It’s only 4' long and is ultra, ultra light action and a Shimano TX500F rail.

This pole is a”Blast” every time you hook up with a trout it feels like your fighting a monster.
Talk about a fun few hours of fishing I fished about 2.5 hours and caught 17 trout.
10 Rainbows and 7 Brookies. Kept 6 that swallowed the hooks and were bleeding.

I swear I could have caught fish till dark but after the 6 fish swallowed the hook I called a day.
As for bait they were hitting everything from meallies & salmon eggs to roostertails.
Well that’s my fishing report for Monday.
