I don't think that was it, all three trout were full of whiteish brown and green very small nymphs. after the one of them was caught on a wooly bugger it spit up a bunch of nymphs while I was trying to get the fly out of its mouth. That's why I switched to the smallest olive nymph I had and finally caught the bigger brookie

And the last few pics, The reason I’m so happy is I have been trying to catch a big brookie for close to 20 years and NEVER even came close.

So it is off the to do list [up] and the fact that it was on a fly ONLY MAKES IT THAT MUCH SWEETER. ;
