got on the boat around 6:30 and headed out to the bay,the river had a chop on it at first light so I knew we were in for a beating as we hit the bay the chop got worse ,I headed over to keyport and set my anchor ,with in minutes the first bass came over the rail after that it was slow as ever we got 6 bass and 1 flounder {13 inchs}.the wind kicked up to about 30 mph so we tried to find shelter but couldnt so we called it a day and came home .it was bitter cold out there and my buddy didnt have gloves so I lent him mine and he dropped them in the bay so we both froze.50 bucks in bait and a cold ass and 1 fish to show for it what a day.if anyone is gonna buy bait from the tackle box check your worms first they are half dead

Better luck next time Catfish. Whenever I get skunked (or come up with little to show for my time)it makes me want to get out there again... and soon. The next trip after a bad one is always the trip that I land the BIG flounder. Hopefully the same will hold true for you. [up]

it was freezin out there ,the boat had one problem that was fixed quickly there was something that stoped the fuel from getting from the tank to the moter I pulled on the line and we were back fishin in no time

probably a kink in the line, and once you pulled it it straightned out,,,,,how big were the bass

most likly no big deal ,all bass were small ,the king got just as many and all the same size 22 inchs

that also ,I couldnt believe what they sold me ,I was wondering why they threw them in the bag so fast ,now I am stuck w/ 2 dozen small nasty worms and almost a bushel of clams.what a crappy day out there ,hope it is better next week
