Cannot wait to go in looks like they are open, finally someone closer than targeteers.

I would just go to Davis Sport Shop and ask for Kevin Grey (and him only), he works wed- sunday. Targeteers is rip off and full snoody attitude, I refuse to give them any of my hard earned money. Keven Grey is a great guy and one of the best bow techs in the entire north east imho. He has treated me right for a long time and I will always be loyal customer to him and send him business and even when he doesn't carry the brand I want Ill still bring a bow or gun to him to be built, set up, or worked on. For example, he is a hoyt dealer and im a Mathews guy but ill bring a bare brand new Mathews there for him to put together and set up. Furthermore, he stands behind the products he sells which is very rare these day. When I blow up a reel or break a rod, he will warrantee it and deal with the company for me, I don't know of any other outdoor store that will do that this day in age. Every other place would tell you to call the manufacture.. I cant speak for anyone else at davis but Kevin is a class act and good dude, If you want real customer service there is no other place.

I agree. Kevin has helped me out quite a bit over the years

Hey everyone! My name is Jimmy Paolozzi and I am the co owner of Agony Outdoors. I would like to thank you for posting our shop on NJ Hunter. Mark and I are like evryone else, we needed a shop that had great customer service, friendly, and cared more about the customer than the dollar. We decided to open our own store to fill this void. Mark and I have been bowhunting since we were 10 years old and at around 20 years old, started buying equipment and working on our own stuff. At age 29 now, I love working on customers equipment and setups! We have a high standard in our equipment and if it's not good, enough for us, it's not good enough for our customers. We strive for satisfaction. We don't push products on our customers and we love showing archers the ins and outs of bow tuning. Feel free to stop in for a cup of coffee and a conversation, our customers are our family, and we truly mean that. There are many good bow techs in the area and Davis Sport shop is fantastic, I use to go to them before I bought my equipment. Mark and I are available with a phone call to our personal cell phones as well. We understand last minute things happen before the season so we want to be there for our customers. Whether it's 12 pm or 3 am, we are available to come meet you for service. For my cell number, email me at jpaolozzi@agonyoutdoors.com. we look forward to meeting each and everyone of you.

Mathews dealers by any chance ?

Currently we do not carry Mathews. We are a small shop and unfortunately can only carry a limited stock. The big names like Hoyt and Mathews require a tremendous amount of money per year to sell their equipment. Mark and I both have been shooting Xpedition so this is the brand we carry. We decided to pick a company and learn that one company very well (what the bow likes, where it tunes, let off, draw cycle, etc.) xpedition, although small, is an up and coming company that is still small enough to take care of their customers but big enough to have a great turn around time on orders and the technology to build a fantastic bow. They started off as an aerospace engineering company but had an interest in archery. Stop in and shoot a couple of them, I'm sure you'll be impressed with the speeds and shootability of Xpedition. One in and shoot one, there is no obligation to buy or upfront costs for testing our bows.

hey guys, i had the opportunity to meet jimmy up in his shop in Waldwick. i needed some work done on my bowtech and the guys were super helpful and knowledgeable, i would recommend going up to the shop if you get a chance.

I was at this shop back in June and needed some alterations on my bow as it was firing uneasy. Mark fixed it up and recommended some adjustments. Arrows are now flying more accurate and the release is much smoother. Highly recommend this shop.

I just dropped my bow there this week for new strings. He is extemely knowledgeable and just wants to help you get a good tune on your bow. Genuinely nice guy and a great bowshop.

I will be buying my next bow setup from him.
