Well looks like another helping of Tag Soup for me with regular bow season. [wallmad] I did get a spike/antlerless so there is meat in the freezer but no horns. Things really heating up now though and hoping for venison cheesesteaks instead of tag soup for extended bow.

I did the same exact thing....I love donating money to the state...only thing is I WON'T be purchasing the permit for the season and won't be hunting the winter season as well

im gonna hunt for a buck today. its friday and why not. last day before the state says pay again. followed by pay again and again lol...

Tired of hearing this tag soup. And bitching about costs of permits. This is no surprise. Just a fraction of what it really costs to hunt. Im just happy to be out in the woods. And spend time with my family.

I passed on smaller bucks that needed more time to grow and couldn't care less, I've shot doe so I have meat.
Not the first time I have soup in the fall and won't be the last. I refuse to hunt the warm weather and am perfectly happy getting one good buck a year weather it's a big rack or a big body. A bonus would be getting a second one.
