Hey guys , my lil guy isn't so little anymore. He is an 8 Month Old AMERICAN FOX HOUND, his dna tests show that he is majority Fox hound with a lil bit of terrier somewhere in there. I've owned hounds my whole Jake is by far the smartest and intuitive hound I've ever had. He fetches, brings back and drops, is incredible at trailing, haven't been able to stump him yet. Knows the names of his certain toys that he goes and gets out of his basket when asked and puts them away when he's done. I swear this dog can speak English haha
He learned to spell when we would spell out words like treats, bone , antler etc ha. He's shown interest in a lot of different critters, he's treed some ***** , run rabbits , enjoys chasing squirrels as well. He's like a jack of all trades. He's got an incredible personality and can differentiate hunting and outside time with in the house and settle down time which is new to me , all my other hounds were one or another. Well Mr. Jake has expressed interest in sowing his wild oats and is looking for love! I have had several people reach regarding pups or studding him out. We are not interested in getting him fixed at this point as the amount of people who have asked for one of his pups has been surprisingly overwhelming. If anyone has a female they are looking to have bred shoot me a pm and we can discuss
