Had a nice bear come down the hill into a valley down to the the flat below me. Been a long week so I took the chance, and figured it would be epic to spot and stalk him. climbed down, wind in my face, wet leaves, little breeze, perfect situation. Snuck up on the cliff over the the flat and..... Dang bear moved on already
Seems like all the bears are moving with a mission, acorns all around me but don't wanna come eat them or check out my scents

Good question? I have a reversible hat and quarter blaze vest that I'm using while walking to and from stand. Even if not required I don't trust hunting state land with other hunters around. Better safe then sorry. While on stand just leaving hat on

Do we need orange on now that muzzleloader is open? Don't remember reading it
Maybe if you're hunting from a blind it has to have the orange displayed on it? I really dont know and I don't remember reading it anywhere.

You don't need to wear orange while bowhunting during any other open gun season, right? Just display it atop of your ground blind?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong
