Just want to go ahead and say thank you to the folks over there for holding a great shoot this weekend. Good time and quite the experience.

The BRA boys were there and we had a fairly rough day. A misfired arrow, a prematurely ejaculated arrow and the saga continues. A few of us (ok really just me) almost lost to the light a time or two. Ahh the hell with it! It was fun and I know that everyone enjoyed themselves.

Thanks again to TDALY for buying lunch for the crew.

I ended up fighting through each shot and wound up with a 429 w/ 14x's

I'm not sure what the high score was for the 9:30's line but i do know it wasnt me as AMBER Susen, who was shooting alongside me, turned out an Impressive 430.

Good shooting to all that attended and the Mayhem will continuye at Farmers on Sunday.[patcheye]

John, great shooting with you and the gang today [up]. It was a great experience to go through, learning to tame the nerves and function with the additional pressure of the clock. I let down a bunch of times today and actually beat the clock by only about 3 seconds on one end. I ended up with a 427, 10 Xs. I shot two 7s, including one on my last shot of the tourney, and two 8s. I'm not satisfied with my score but for my initial foray into organized competition I'll take it. I guess I'm making progress because on each of my 4 shots outside the 9 ring, and in fact many of my nines, I felt that I should let down but I lost my discipline and forced it. For every one of my tens and Xs there was never any question - they just felt so right. If I can stay focused I should continue climbing. I'm really hooked on this stuff! Where and when is the next one?????

Too Funny [hihi][hihi][hihi]

Tom With some work maybe we'll place top 3 eventually lol!
absolutely, bro[up][up][up]. You called it the other day: high 30's to be competitive. We can get there if we keep practicing!

WE really need to come up with shirts for all these shoots and events[up]

Someone told me we shoot better this way:D

Yeah man. Ya see like I said with 1 really good day like you shot at Bordy's you coulda taken it.

Im pumped now. Just more discipline and practice and we'll all get there.

Guys, had a great time today, great shooting with everyone, good times at breakfast and lunch as well. Thanks for treating us to lunch Tom, that was very generous of you.:)

Great shoot the Lincoln Park Archers put on today, thanks to them for putting together a well organized, very efficient, fun shoot. [up][up]:)

I wish I could have a few shots back, like the arrow that fell off the rest and found Fernando's target. :( That zero hurt. There were a few rushed shots too that I wish I could have back, but what can you do. I forgot the pressure of the clock. I used to shoot so much faster than I do now. Now I take so long between shots that the clock actually is a factor.

Regardless of the poor score though, I had a great time, and hopefully I can shoot my practice average at the next shoot.

God I love spots...:D

Hey, Congrats to John "Bordy" too...took first in the Bowhunter Division. :)

Amber and Allison came down to X count...Those tight races are always the most fun.[up] I had the pleasure of shooting next to Amber on the line today and I have to say, she is a great shooter and a very nice young lady. :)

Spots are for girly men. Real men travel through the woods together and hunt the elusive foam target. We battle alligators, raptors, sheep and of course the dreaded 43 yard head on turkey.

So whens the next spot shoot?[rofl]

I really wish i had a second lens to leave a dot on rather then switching back and forth between dot and pin....

Hey whats the best way to take my dot off without beating my lens up too badly? Let it sit in hot water or whats the deal? Havent peeled it yet.

God I love spots...
God I love bows!!!

Matty, BTW, I owe you big time, dude, for hooking me up with the arrows. You need to show me how you fletched the flu flus, particularly the wrap arounds.

Congrats John (Bordy) on your win!!! I'll bet Joe fletched your arrows [hihi][hihi][hihi]
