Bought the million mile max care warranty on my Dodge Bighorn back in 2008.
truck has seen very little of time at the dealer while driving over 260K miles.
took it in when I heard a whine getting loud in the front end.
they changed the Axle bearing etc, and shafts on both sides as well as the seals

Hundred bucks.

Not one question asked other than could they have it for 2 days to do the repair.
Picked it up tonight , and its as quiet as the day I bought it

In todays day and age, not many manufactures even honer their warranties.
was great to see how well Dodge stood behind theirs
Dan,
As you may know it's getting time for me to get a real truck 3/4 ton or better so can you tell me is that million mile deal still out there, if so you just sold a Dodge.

Maybe I'm missing something here... Isn't that what you paid for when you purchased this warranty?
absolutley.
but I can tell you after dealing with other warranties they usually use a loop hole.
with the Max care warranty you required to do very little. which when I purchased mine was show proof of changing the oil every 6000 miles.
And the dealer had to inspect the truck at least once every 60000 miles. so if they saw any issues they could be repaired.

The SOMETHING is that dodge offered no reason what so ever to completly replace the milage worn parts.

I can compare it to my marine engine warranties, where I had the same issue on both of the twin motors, Suzuki covered 1, and I had to eat the other. yet was saame issue on both motors at the same time.

Dodge will continue to get my business just because they stand behind their product, and just on this truck I have another 740000 miles of warranty.

and the origional price was 1600 bucks

Brought my 2010 challenger back 3 times. First time they replaced the power steering pump. Then the plastic trim piece on the drivers door panel cracked, then 3 weeks later the same piece on the passenger door panel cracked. All 3 replaced, no questions asked, and didnt cost me a dime.

sounds like a real good warranty. no wonder everybody up here by me owns dodge trucks.lol
check out the max care warranty I posted here to JB.
you have to click on each individual item to see whats covered, but it covers about 90% of the vehicle.
and if you have any issue in those areas just once, the warranty pays for itself

my truck has had the tie rod ends done twice.
brake overhaul including a rotted e cable.
Heater assembly because the leds burned out.
replaced the alternator at 250K
and now the front axle bearings.
In 260000 miles I had to put under 400 bucks out of my pocket.
and the truck runs like the day I brought it home.

only issue I have seen with ALL of the Dodge trucks is they start to rust out above the wheel wells in the same spot.
But the thousands I saved on repairs I can use a few hundred to get that fixed when needs be.

I always felt that the BS 100K extended warranties they sell are not worth it. I don't know what you paid for yours but if you are keeping your vehicle more than 10 years then it may be worth it.
