Chris, that bass is as big, or bigger, than most fishermen have ever caught. That is a true toad. If you send your original picture to Dragthor I bet he can post a larger version for you. I'd love to see it.

Chris what a great L.M. bass [up]
I bet you had fun landing that thing.

For me it was a 12 lbs.large mouth bass in a pond on a farm in up state N.Y.

I had to go in up to my waist and dig it out of the weeds. 12lbs. fish 50lbs weeds :D Caught it on light tackle, what a fight it put up [up]
Of corce it went right back in after several people came running to see the monster :D Sorry no pic I wasn't expecting to catch anything but a few suuny's.

I could put both my fists inside it's mouth what a big bass.

congrats on getting that large bass--thx for the pic:)

Great picture Shris - thanks for the upgrade. Now....go fishing and upgrade the bass! [up]

Well then congratulations Paul because you are the new NY state record largmouth bass holder
That was 9 years ago, I wonder if it's still there :D I never would have guessed it would be a state record [confused] Just think the farmer that owns the pond even told me I could keep it if I want, I was amazed by the size of it and couldn't imagine a fish like that could live in a pond, maybe a huge lake but never a pond. I swear it’s the truth NOT JUST SOME FISH STORY [up] we weighed it on a bathroom scale and it broke the 12lbs. line.
I've also landed a few 8 and 9 pounders in the same pond ;)
That fish is why I now carry a camera and a digital scale with me when I go fishing anywhere "Especially" in these little ponds that I hit with Mack, you never know what you may catch [up]

My largest was around 4 lbs caught in Florida several years ago.

Last year I was with a kid from the firehouse fishing in a lake across the street from our firehouse(same lake where the kid was rescued last week from the ice). He caught one that was about 3 inches long. There are some nice sized fish in this little lake. Hopefully this year I will be able to get out a little more then I did last year. Unfortunately I need to go out and get a couple new rods because most of mine broke when I was moving.

Never weighed any LM Bass I have cought since I don't kill em they all go back in best so far was 23" long it was IMO a nice fish.

Thats the way to go[up] I only keep things from the ocean such as stripers, fluke, ect and the ocasional trout I catch here. Just snap a pic and you can remember that day forever, and maybe catch it again next year even bigger!

Same here [up] Take a few pics and back in they go.
But I do weigh the big boys now, so I know for sure how big they were ;)
