There was also the time I was bottle hunting in the woods and had crawled deep into some briars to go after one that was sticking half out of the ground. Turns out there was also a wasp nest in the ground too. They started nailing me the second I got my hand on the bottle. I had my head shaved at the time so they were stinging me all over my scalp. The quickest way out of there was running straight through the briars so by the time I got out I looked like the elephant man from the neck up and a jigsaw puzzle from about chest down.

I dislocated my hip in a dirt bike accident. I went over a big jump and didn't land well. Just imagine pulling your leg down out of its socket. Ligaments, tendons, muscles and all and placing it on the outside of your pelvis. :uncomfortableness: The doctors tried to put it back in while I was awake with 3 huge orderlies holding me down as I was yelling the "F" word! They finally had to put me out to get it back into place. I was in the hospital for a week and the Docs didn't know how to treat it because it rarely happens to a young healthy person. Usually the pelvis or leg breaks first.

When I was working for a fire department in south Carolina we were cutting a victim out of a bad wreck on the side of the highway. I was on the tools and working to remove the door and roll the dash. About halfway through the dash roll my legs suddenly felt like they were on fire. I looked down and my legs were covered in thousands of fire ants. Some had gotten inside my turnout gear pants and my station pants. I got bit over 200 times on each leg between my knee and my ankle. Had someone poured gasoline on me and lit it I don't think that would have hurt as much. My legs swelled to 2.5 times their normal size and oozed puss. The only thing worse than the initial pain was the incessant itching for the next 2 months.

Side note- if you ever get bit by fire ants spray bactine on them. It's the only thing that stops the itching

Burst fracture of lumbar verterbre when my old, fat ass crashed an atv. Unbearable, intractable lightening bolts going into my thigh.

Then suddenly, the piece of bone shifted away from my spinal cord, and the pain instantly disappeared.

They want to put nuts and bolts in my spine .... I'm really don't want to.

I agree with you Bill. Car accident, my buddy was driving, hit a parked car spun around and hit a fire hydrant. Centrifugal fore sent me flying out the (open) passenger window. My buddy went through the same window. He was hanging upside down took a couple hours to cut him out. Meanwhile I had a compound fracture of my femur bone which went into my chest. The worst part is I cou;ldn't move and was drowning in the gutter. The hydrant does shoot into the air like tv. The pain didn't come till they set the bone. I told my sister to take my mom away, they still heard me scream 2 wings down. Ow, sucks knowing how much it's going to hurt in advance. My sister broke hers 15yrs before..

Tearing my left knee medial meniscus playing high school basketball. Even worse was watching my son do it twice along with his ACL each time. I probably tore my ACL too - they didn't do MRI back in those days. My herniated disk flare ups over the years will be a close second.

6 years ago at a local MX track i rolled up the windows over a 60 foot double table top to flat ground. I thought both of my legs were broken but somehow they weren't. The only other comparable pain i've experienced to that incident was the following year at Englishtown swapping out on a take off, wrecking hard and not realizing my wrist was broken until i tried to use that hand to pick up my bike. Here is a video of Chad Reed showing what rolling up the windows looks like..

Actually, I think the worst pain was when I tore my ankle up playing basketball as a teenager. I was wearing low-tops and I jumped up to grab a rebound and when I came down, I landed on another guy's foot. my ankle rolled completely over to the ground. I was black and blue from my toes up to the middle of my shin. Had to be on crutches for a month. The pain of that one was way worse than any broken bone that I've experienced
same thing happened to me, but i was in an adult volleyball league. That pain shot up the back of my leg, up through my spine, and into the back of my neck. I thought my whole foot got torn off. And i bruised from big toe to almost mid shinn.
