Bored at wotk has me curious as my cousins explains his worst pain experience which was his fall from a treestand from 21' in the air, that including his thumb being cut off and a bruise that was from his middle back all the way down to his thigh.

So as the title states, what is it?
From what I could gather just from talking, for women, the worst pain they experienced was child birth, for men the worst pain that they have experienced was a toothache.

What is your worst pain experience? PHYSICALLY.

Don't mind the title, autocorrect on my phone messed it up.

Actually, I think the worst pain was when I tore my ankle up playing basketball as a teenager. I was wearing low-tops and I jumped up to grab a rebound and when I came down, I landed on another guy's foot. my ankle rolled completely over to the ground. I was black and blue from my toes up to the middle of my shin. Had to be on crutches for a month. The pain of that one was way worse than any broken bone that I've experienced

A ruptured patella tendon, well it more like exploded, during a wrestling match when I was 19 almost two years rehabbing from it...yeah, that one stung a little...35 years later and it still hurts sometimes.

Man I've wrecked everything I think there's only a few things I haven't broken. Hundreds of stitches ( doc said he stopped counting at 300 after one car wreck) One thing that seems to stand out was after breaking 7 ribs on a dirt bike. And a few more bruised and bent. That one seemed like every breath was a new adventure in pain.

Physical pain, #1 surviving a head on collision #2 living with sciatic pain for over a year.
Emotional pain, having my house burn down to the foundation and the loses associated with that.

So NO it wasn't when they made a crossbow a "Bow" in NJ.

When I was 12 or 13 I broke my front tooth. I really didn't hurt that bad-just had a bloody lip. When I looked in a mirror I saw that the tooth was broken and what looked like a little thread hanging out of it. I barely touched it with my pointer finger and it felt like 10,000 volts blasted through my head and I saw stars. Yup, that was the nerve, and it was still very much alive and functioning [ko]

oh that reminds me....when I was 11-12 we were sledding down this big hill that had one of those heavy duty wooden swingsets at the bottom of it. well, the people I was with thought it would be awesome if they swung the heavy pipe/trapeze bar down to knock me off of my sled. It hit me square in the mouth and smashed both of my front teeth to shards, exposing the roots to just dangle there in the cold winter air. That pain is most definitely the real deal, especially to a young kid

I was on a ladder fixing a skylite on my trailer when the ladder fell over.I landed on my side on a small stump.Cracked 5 ribs and ruptured my right Kidney.By the time I got to the Hosp.I needed a blood transfusion.
I was never in such pain!

Age 13, riding my bicycle home from school. Car made a u-turn and didn’t see me. Woke up on the sidewalk with my left foot by my right ear. Crushed my femur. Was in traction for 6 months before I got my first cast. Really liked morphine shots! Spent 18 months in the hospital and another 18 months in physical therapy learning to walk again.
