Wow! Looks like that bass looks could snatch someone from the shore and pull them under.

Ya brought that heat back with ya.... Nice fish! I'd sneak back for a few more casts! We may do the Ft. Wilderness trip in the future... How many road hours?
Started from Blairstown. We had to stop in Delaware on the way down to pick my daughter up at college. That took us through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. $22 one way. Going that way it took us 20 hours. We stopped in South Carolina on the way down. I drove straight through on the way home, up thru Delaware again. It usually takes us about 18 hours going the 81 route west of DC. No real traffic to speak of. Towards the end of the week it really got hot and very humid, a few minutes walking around and you were soaked. Disney was packed, but SeaWorld was great, very short lines. We did keep sneaking back in to fish.[ninja] Seems security was kind of confused whether or not we could fish or not. Pretty much got a different story from each different security person that stopped by ,so we took a little advantage of that. One Security person told us that it was not a good place to catch fish. LOL

Glad you had fun. If you make it back, Mosquito Lagoon is great for fishing too. People catch huge redfish in there just by wading, though renting a kayak is even better.
Yes, I would like to try that. I had planned to go on a charter, but never got to it. The wife gets seasick on a calm day. I was so happy to catch that big bass with my son it was like, Mission Accomplished , for the fishing. lol The beach you recommended was great. Thanks[up]

Awesome pictures longbow. As for the doe looking pregnant yet, most likely they are. I know much of the deep south like alabama and Georgia the Rut is actually in January meaning it's two months later which would place births in july. Not sure about Florida but believe I've heard especially in south and central Florida does can come in anytime of the year as it's green and warm enough for fawns to survive no matter when they are born.
