No...it's being offered at the Inn at Pocono Manor. They have a fly fishing school..but their website says to check back for the 2006 schedule [confused]

It's pricey too. I think TightLines offers classes. Maybe some guys on here may know more. I saw fly tying classes on their website, but no actual casting classes yet. That's what I need. Start with the basics.

I love fly fishing , I learned how at the Catskill fly fishing center on the Willowehmoc at a weekend camp coarse when I was 10, 9' 5 wt is the wtg for most situations , it all in the wrist, My grandpa & uncle are world cl [no swearing please] fly tier's , and I have been learning to tie fly's for a few years now , learning to tie your own fly's will definitly make you a much better fly fisherman.
I'm heading to my uncles cabin in sw Montana this June to fish in one of his two drift boats , on the Clarks Fork river , the native fish are very fast and hard to hook , this will be my third trip, the first two we fished the Madison , and the big Horn rivers, simply amazing waters

The Inn at the Pocono Manor looks really nice. It's an Orvis Endorsed Guide. The two day cl [no swearing please] is $395. plus gratuities. And you know you're going to buy something at the Orvis store that they have there too. It will be more like a $600.00 weekend.

i used to fly fish some but i stopped many years ago. it's time for a change and a new challenge.
Woj me too. I used to love fly fishing but for whatever reason I stopped. I used to love fishing streamers..It may be time to get back into it..Since I started tying teasers for salt water it got the juices flowing agian..

Joan wulff runs a weekend camp on the upper Beaverkill , not sure of cost's but I'm sure it's worth it.At the Wulff School of Fly Fishing in Lew Beach, N.Y., Joan Wulff offers two-day courses on the Beaverkill River. The price without lodging or meals is $450 a person.

Ms. Wulff suggests signing up in January for next summer. Information: (845) 439-5020.

Woj, I'm definitely down for some fly fishing, but I probably won't get really into it until Mid/late March. My buddy has been doing well up north there by you lately with this warm weather...so it's worth going out for sure! [up]

And definitely hook up with Beaverkill...that dude is a fly fishing maniac! :D

we'll hook up on a river somewhere Matt.[up]

yeah beaverkill has offered his assistance.[hihi]

actually that was the only place i could find good places to stay near the wb. hopefully get up there this year.
You will notice there isnt a river description for the West Branch..I just dont like the river..It is a good river, full of big fish but there are way too many fishermen for my taste..That river gets more pressure than a Jersey stream on stocking day..But there are lots of hogs in there and they like to take dry flys..Hope you make it up there this year..

if you willing to give any ideas of a better place to go id be grateful.
I like to stay near Roscoe..You are right on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc, which are medium sized streams but in 30 minutes you can be on the Eats or west Branch or The Main Stem of the Delaware.. All Different Water types...If one river isnt fishing well, a short drive later you can fish another river with different conditions..But it really depends on what time of the year you are planning to go..When are you planning on going?
