Hey drag Ive got about 9 safe and responsible guys (if they all show ).
We usually hammer zone 5, colombia b brook etc.
Gona see if i can talk em into your deerathon.
Weve all got 5 permits ,ill buy every zone don`t matter to me.Not a buck shot guy though.Ill talk to everyone and see.one virgin shooter in the group.

Hey Guy's it looks like my Father might be dropping out. Go figure. Retired but still works 35 hours a week for something to do. I see if I can talk him into it.

It is with deep regrets that I have to cancel out on the Pequest Deerathon [sad].
I have been invited back to hunt with Lou's boys at Colliers Mills.
It was a hard choice but given these facts, I made the decision.
Save $28 - I already have a Zone 17 Permit (I'm on a fixed income, you know)
I know there's a Sh*t load of deer that we saw.
40min. drive vs. 2 hrs.+ (Biggest factor cosidering I'm driving up North on Sunday for the Get together)
Lou's "boys" are like my Southern guys - Briar holes,swamps = NO PROBLEM, NO WHINING
Soooo I'll see ya at JJ's on Sunday.

I'm gonna have to bail. From the other drive, I've been advised that it is difficult to drive, especially with the speed of moving deer, with a longbow. I know from personal experience getting through briars and such while carting a longbow and quiver of arrow is difficult (I don't have a shotgun license, yet). That coupled with the fact that I don't own a pair of Carhart overalls and have only one set of winter camo, that would probably get ripped to shreds, it may not be in my best interests to go. I've been sick all winter bow so far and I haven't got a chance to get out in the woods yet with my brother in law, locally. It would definitely be a lot of fun to help you guys out by just being a driver, but I still haven't gotten my first deer yet and am quickly running out of time.
I know excuses, excuses!!! It appears you guys have a ton of peeps goin' so I wouldn't be missed anyway. I apologize and will meet, some of you at least, on Sunday for the show and gathering afterwards.
This spring I am going to get my shotgun and muzzleloader hunting licenses so that I can participate next year in all the drives with a gun. Good luck [smoke][up]
