I hate to say it but if it wasn't for the fishing posts in the summer months this place would be a ghost town... besides most hunters have some degree of interest in fishing. I can honestly say that all the hunters I know are also fisherman.

doesnt make it ok.there are places for things. i dont go to the library for ice cream just hate wading through piles of fishing trips.this is a hunting forum.

To the naysayers - Well this is the fishing section. Not much hunting in summer. Great job on the doormat!! I missed opener and made it out the past two days with only one fish and one keeper.
Bet you thought that was a skate at first! huge doormat!

The NJH slogan when Kris was running the site was "We fish in the off season". Check the forums...they include fishing topics. Glad you've only posted 183 times in 4+ years. Congrats Mako on an awesome trip.

haha.i was the one with the baseball bat but i'll let mako tell the story.
that was the only fluke ive ever seen that grew when it hit the deck.they usually lose a feww inches when you get them in.

Oh come on admit it....he kissed you didn't he. [lol]

Lord knows when you are netting a friends monster like that the pressure is on. I am sure there was two BIG sighs of relief when that fatty hit the deck.
