The correlation is very similar to the Adirondacks , there's some bruisers but not Quanity . No second growth with lots of barren floor cover. Deer love browse , eat and move . Deer weren't designed to be a trough animal. When I first started hunting way up north I thought deer were going to be behind every tree , boy was I mistaken LOL . Agriculture and edge (like already mentioned) is what makes good habitat combo in water source and your golden [up]

I sent a reply a few weeks ago and, while following up on my messages/inquiries, I realized that I neglected to provide you with the requisite information requested, so here it is. Please reply whether or not the opportunity still exists. Thanks, Charlie

WOW, this brings back so many memories. Way back then that property that the Desapios own was old lady Mrs. Brown. At one time we (Barbertown) used to have all that land around there all the way down to River rd. Then they fence in the area to create an Elk hunting preserve, which never materialized. Way back then I used to hunt with Jay's grandfather. Back then was a totally different era and we knew how to control the slaughter of deer just for the sake of killing them. I always predicted that NJ will end up wiping out the herd. It looks by what I'm reading that yall are pretty close to doing so. Actually Kingwood was just about all Barbertown land. You guys need to get together and stop the DFW from destroying was is left.

I hunted Desapios years ago still have elk in there? Janelle would charge people to shoot deer in the fence...
Yes many elk now..I hunted there up until 3 years ago..actually right on oak Grove Road where back of the fence is..I have a video of a 6 by 6 under my stand that got out of the fence 4 years ago he was following a spike. I do miss that place

My name is Robert (Bob) Sickel, my email is bobbo69b@aol.com, my CID # is 800-057-978, I live in Hamilton, N.J. (Mercer County), and I harvested 5 does last season 2015-2016 because the hunting club I'm in only allowed 5. Now this coming season they voted to lower the limit to 2 does therefore I'm looking for other land to help me fill my freezer.

Did you ever think there was a reason the club lowered the number?

Interested in Kingswood Hunting

Hello,

I enlist independent individuals (not groups) to help reduce the herd on land that I manage. I am looking for people who are willing to pay a small fee (about $130) to be 1 of 4 hunters on a 66 acre wooded piece adjacent to farmland. You must be willing to put in about 8 hours of time removing invasive shrubs and report harvests to me within 48 hours, including a picture. Must also hunt from an elevated platform. If hunters do well on this preserve next year, the following year they will have more land available. If you submit this information to me, you agree that I can check for hunting violations with the state. I will do nothing else with your information. If you disagree that their are too many deer, or don't think that this is a good deal, or only hunt once a month, or already have access to hundreds of acres, than I don't think this program is for you. Also, I prefer those who hunt 100% of the season.

If interested and qualified reply with the below info and I will send you more information.
