fun day in the turkey woods and a happy ending

went out this morning with john (buck154) and it wasent long before we were on a bird. we worked this bird with the hanna call and slate for 2 hours before we were able to get him. then spent the next 3.5 hours searching for a second bird for john with no luck. with the rain it was verry hard to hear, but theres next week we will hopefully find one before the fluke opener. 9 inch beard 17.5 lbs 3/4 inch spurs

Was a great day. Had a lot of fun anf laughs. He was a tough one with the few hens he had with him. But in the end he made a mistake and took a load of 6s to the head from you. Nice shot and congrats again. Next week maybe my turn
