This was posted on here last year. I am not sure if they are doing it this year. If you are interested all you need to do is contact the local police and ask.
9/19/2005 - Deer Hunting in Township Parks
From November 1, 2005 through February 18, 2006, the Township's parks will be open to deer hunting by special permit. Please take note that hunting is permitted on WEEKDAYS ONLY. Hunters must have a specially issued Chester Township permit in addition to a valid New Jersey hunting license. They must enter and exit via designated entry points and sign in and out in the appropriate "Hunters Log" found at each entryway. The parks are not closed during this period. If you hike the parks during hunting season, please wear blaze orange or confine your visits to the weekends. If you see anyone you believe is violating the Township's hunting rules, please report them immediately to the Township Police Department.
