Besides Mr. Hyde, I saw jus about everyone got the permits they applied for. I have never seen this many successful applicants in past yrs. I saw a few guys got 2 E wk permits in zones that I thought usually sold out during 1st lottery. That means they got a second E wk in the second lottery which didn't sell out (unheard of that I can remember in certain zones). I know the Division is in dire straights financially, but we r in for a real shit show if they jus gave out permits above quota to make more money!!
Did anyone not get their turkey permits via lottery?

I got the email that i won zone 2 period e but when i go to site to purchase it only shows coyote permit! Anyone else having this problem???
The turkey digest tells you what zones sold out during the 1st lottery (look in the chart, those zones with the "*" are those that were gone after the 1st - last year for period E that was zones 12, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 - zone 20 E were gone after the 2nd lottery).
Not sure which guys said they got 2 E weeks, but it was probably in the other zones. Either that, or not as many people put in for the lottery. Who knows, maybe the computer spit the bit and screwed up and gave out too many? I'm pretty sure it would not be allowed for the DFW to give out more than the quota allowed.
I didn't even get my email yet - not sure why everyone else got theirs. I had to log in and go to the "check lottery application" and it tells me I was awared two permits.
But you can't purchase them until the 29th - that's why you can't see the option to purchase. Have to wait for Monday.

This is interesting. When I log in, I'm told I got awarded an E week and a B week, but the dates are from 2015!! For example, my B week is showing "You have been awarded the following. Zone Awarded: Area 15 - Period B Season/Period Information: April 27- May 1"
April 27-May 1 was LAST years dates. This year, B week is May 2-May 6!
Last year E days were: April 25, and May 2, 9 and 16. Those are the exact dates the website says I was awarded THIS year. But this year's E days are Saturdays: April 30, and May 7, 14 and 21.

That's why they call it a lottery. Do you have more chance of winning the powerball if you purchased your ticket first?
Your basically screwed...you need to be on website just before 10 on day of sale. Better be quick have everything all ready to go ..press purchase at exactly 10 am
Right - the day of OTC sales in Monday March 28 this year. There are those few people that either forget to, or don't, buy their lottery awarded permits. Those left overs are put on sale OTC - for the popular zones, you'll only have a couple minutes to buy. They are always scooped up quick. I remember watching zone 21 had a dozen or so left and within 5 minutes were all gone.
Yeah that was kind of a bonehead comment on my part, I plead partial insanity, it was 12am.
Its an F'd up system, I see a lot of guys who put it for multiple permits and got them, I didn't get either one I applied for. I got my second choice in my one app. and didn't even get my second choice in my second lottery. Thankfully my son got what I put in for him.
yea, telll that to the ones that like to perch on the fence around the pool, and crap all over the concrete pool surround [lol]. I thought about trying to net one with the skimmer pole, like catching butterflies. Its a standoff sometimes, they dont like me disturbing there perch times, and give me the look of death when i walk out there.
I still say no birds iI 14 lol. .I think they moved to zone 12

I tried to get mine as well but found if you won the lottery you can purchase it feb 29.
