Had some time to send quite a few down range and also get her set up and out in the field!

I have to be honest, I have said in the past that I would never own an under 7" brace height bow... well, I shot the 2016 Obsession Bows Def-Con 6 and ate my words!!! I bought an under 7" BH bow and worrying about forgiveness and the string catching heavy hunting clothes during winter bow was a non factor and I am hunting winter bow without using an arm guard!

The 2016 Obsession Bows Def-Con 6 specs:
IBO Speeds: 360 FPS
ATA: 32.25"
Brace height: 6"
Physical weight: 4.2 LBS
Let Off: 80%

Knowing the specs and drawing this bow, it was not what I expected! A speed bow shooting 360 FPS with a 6" brace height... I was blown away with the smooth draw cycle!!! I was getting ready for a stiff draw through the cycle and that jump off the mountain clunk at the end but I didn't get it... this is one smooth drawing bow with a great transition to the valley with a solid back wall and if you go to creep, she won't rip your shoulder off... I know, too good to be true, right? Well, that ain't it!!! at the shot, no vibe and this baby is accurate! I have been shooting Obsession Bows since 2012 along with some other brands and I have to say, this young bow company has jumped to the top and is putting out the best bows on the market IMO and they have a line up in 2016 for everyone!

But please, don't take my word for it, if you are in the market for a new bow, just shoot an Obsession and there are a few dealers in NJ now, check out the OB site!

Have you shot an IBO arrow thru a chronograph? Just seeing if they hit IBO, I hear they are not even close. They are nice bows, wish the had a split yoke on top for Broadhead tuning.

Elite and Obsession are the two best companies out there....just from what i seen and have shot....Obession has some growing to do to keep up with the demand...their main concern is not to skip on quality and are made one at a time....Owner is very nice and answers the phone personally at times...There is a Elite and Obsession dealer in Jackson nj.....732-298-4149

My 2012 Obsession Lethal Force was shooting 331 FPS at the 2012 LPA 3D shoot, that was a 340 FPS bow so 331 with a D loop and peep was pretty much right there!

I have not shot this bow through the Chrony yet, I will post the numbers when I do.

I'm going to look at/shoot the Obsession Sniper GT pretty soon. Love the specs and light weight. I want to compare it to the Hoyt Defiant.
i'm afraid of going lower than 7" brace height as well. (2nd year archer)

The Sniper GT is an awesome light, compact bow at 30" ATA, 7" BH. I have the Sniper GT (2014). Love it!
