I am trying to do a project with a veterinarian and we need to clean a whole horse.........We will be trying to put together a skeletal model and so the boned need to stay intact

I have heard that there is a way of cleaning off bones by using bugs and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place in NJ or closeby ( I am in Hackettstown)........

If anyone could point me in the right direction and give me any contact info that would be great

Thanks!!

Thanks I looed at those sites and they were really helpful!!

this looks like it might turn out to be quite expensive if a bear skull alone is 150 and I need a whole horse body done.............

does anyone personally know any of the people who run these places??

like how big their bug boxes are??

how long does this process usually take??

Canada,
I was just a Charlies he did a buck I killed during fall bow.
He has 2 colonies working right now they are in fishtanks that he insulates with foam panels he also sells beatles so he maybe able to set you up but a WHOLE FREAKING HORSE!!!
You may need to use an insulated shipping container and several POUNDS of the little bugs to do the job I sure hope you guys are NOT in a hurry.

Just a thought since the beatles will eat just about all of the conective tissue those bones are going to need to get linked together again anyhow why not let Charlie do it a bone at a time?
