Was out scouting my future yard today and was talking to my husband about trail cams and so far I own one and can't figure it out for the life of me. So anyone have any suggestions for a decent trail cam that is easy to use and takes good pictures?

I'm really pleased with the Browning I'm using now but I also have an Easy Cam as well. I think I paid $39 for the a Easy Cam, I put it in spots where there is a good chance that it may walk. The Easy Cam does tell time if you follow the directions and use the time tool app to format the Sd card. The Easy Cam actually works very well for a cheap cam.

I really never used cams for time anyway. .if it's night time pics I know he is there..if it's daytime I know he is there. I use them to get me an idea what's around even though I know most are camera shy. Most bucks I killed never where on my cam and the ones that were I hardly seen them in person.

I've run cameras over the years and always found the Moultrie's reliable. Last year I guided for an outfitter friend out in Iowa/Missouri and we ran alot of cameras over the 6,000+ acres he leased. Found the Moultrie's and Brownings worked the best. Good quality pictures, worked day or night and long battery life. No need to spends hundreds of dollars on a game because someone on TV is endorsing it, all you want, I'm sure, is a camera that will take decent pictures of what is on your land. My most recent camera purchase was the Browning Range Ops for $69, free with my Cabela's points. Runs on AA batteries, so no more carrying those monster D cells around.
