Called in two this morning. First one came a running and before I knew it was right on top of me. He saw me move and took off. Then he made the mistake of stopping to look behind him. 125 yards, .17/223 25gr Hornady HP right behind the shoulder, dirt nap. Second one gave me a hard time. He was running through the Apple Trees back and forth and only stopped when a tree was in the way. I switched to Baby Cottontail and he cam running right to me. 50 yards I drop the hammer and the bullet hits bone and explodes. Tears him up real bad but if you look you can see the mange on his tail. So didn't mind. Good ones skinned and I am ready for the afternoon. These Fox killed a bunch of Kyle's Chickens.
