So how did your club fair this 6 day gun season. Clubs please post your total and mention any nice bucks. Personally I did not see or hear all the clubs I usually hear yo bucking through the woods.
Christ, even Susan cunthoe knows about the Freedon of Information Act. Wouldn't the state take any action more serious if the management proposed changes you want are rooted in facts instead of a bunch of " I feels or I thinks"?RDF this is a start. The division first needs to know hunters are not happy with what they are paying for. We will get that break down by zone at the end of the year but we need them to take it further and get the numbers from private land to public land on the harvest. This is a start we need to walk before we can run.
I know the clubs in my area did pretty well, and I do see plenty of posts on Facebook with club totals/pics. Not posting them here doesn't mean anything except that this site doesn't attract hunters like it used toTheir silence tells the whole story. Pretty quiet out there ........
You are probably right. I just like hearing the totals and highest rack count from each club. I remember getting those totals from Herb Blackwells column in the Trentonian when I just started hunting. Why would the club's want to post anything here. It would just turn into a $hit fest. [confusedagain]
They are posting them up in other places, not hard to find. You are probably right. I just like hearing the totals and highest rack count from each club. I remember getting those totals from Herb Blackwells column in the Trentonian when I just started hunting.
100 individual hunters would hunt in various parts of a park/wma. All at different times. All taking a deer that they wanted to shoot at. They would also have as doe permit for each hunter. That would mean more legitimate money for the fish and game spendSo if there is 20 men in 5 clubs you don't think each hunter should be alowed his deer. But 100 individual guys would be fine. Cmon.
most would have a way better chance of killing a deer sitting over a bait pile.
It would be just the opposite in South Jersey. the whole reason those few clubs can go through and kill 100 bucks in a week is because bow hunters sitting in stands didn't kill them.Believe me up north bow hunters take way more than few local gangs that make drives on state land during six day,the numbers arnt even close
Do you live or hunt anywhere near Salem or Cumberland County? They do exactly that down here.Strip the property of natural resources is far from the truth.
I'm not anti club, I've hunted with one and enjoyed it but I do wish they would not kill every deer they see, which is what happens.SHOCKER! A post about club deer numbers turns into a bashing of and argument about deer drives. Let it go guys, maybe this is why this sight doesn't attract hunters because they fear about their style of hunting is going to be bashed by some dude on the internet. This is why I usually do not go on here during this time of the year. Grown men acting like children, "my way of hunting is right and your's is wrong!" I was curious to find out numbers when I clicked on this post as well and I do not know why I expected anything but deer drive hating.
