I will be in the deer stand in the morning. No way I would risk my life a wma on Thanksgiving. I look back to how dumb I was all those years when I was younger. That was when people were true outdoorsmen and handled firearms safely. Now people have zero respect for anothers life-- a stocked freaking chicken is worth being reckless over in too many peoples minds. To those going out- stay safe and be aware of people around you. They may not have the same mindset as you.

I hear you, but there is a lot one can do to make sure others actions don't effect them. For example stay far and clear from others, if I need to be near someone else I am sure to get their attention and make sure they see me and acknowledge me. I keep the dog close and get out of that area as quickly as possible.

Not saying it will be 100%, but there is a chance you'll be hit by some drunk coming home from the biggest party night of the year tomorrow am, doesn't mean people won't drive to go hunting before sunrise.
