First off, I want to wish everyone that served a happy Veterans Day! I was looking to spend my Veterans Day in the woods. I got to my spot at Greenwood Forrest and yup, you guessed it....all my stuff was gone.
Here is a little note to the thief:
Thank you for stealing my blind and cam. Apparently you need it more than I do, otherwise you would have left it alone. Here is a little about the person you stole from:
I am a disabled Vet that spent 12 years in the Navy and Army. I have three tours to Iraq and Afghanistan under my belt. You have no clue what it is like to be in combat considering you have the balls of a baby goat. I got injured in Iraq and had to leave the Army. I have PTSD and figured hunting would be a good way to battle this war. I found hunting to be very relaxing. I can not get up in a stand very often, therefore use a ground blind. Today, Veterans Day 2015, I wanted to go and spend the morning in my blind, reflecting on my 12 years of service that I gave for my nation (and you). But that was destroyed due to you stealing my stuff. I am not rich. My wife is disabled from a school bus accident when she drove. I am on VA disability. If you don't see already, I am on a strict income budget. I do not have the money to go and replace the stuff you stole. In closing, not only did you steal my property, but you stole my faith in people and my escape from the hell of PTSD. I hope you enjoy my stuff and don't sell it off for drugs. Thank you and have a fine day.
