I bought permits for zone 50 ,51,16 . Also the Monmouth County parks pass but that doesn't open till October 1st . I'm trying understand the public land I can try scout\hunt in any of those zones. I drove around rt34 by earle naval weapons depot for hours trying understand where I could hunt from the zones in digest . When monmmouth opens they provided maps makes job easier . But I'm trying get in this early bow season. I want to get in woods and start lol please help .

We are in the "Fall Bow Season" - no need for permits. hunt any zone, so long as you have your bow license. Permit Bow Season starts later in the year - look at the digest for details. Pages 44-46. You'll see "Fall Bow" season and "Permit Bow" seasons listed. "Fall Bow" does not require zone-specific permits (but you have to follow the regulations for the zone you are hunting, so you still need to know what zone you are in so you know what rules to follow)

I have most of the zones in NJ loaded in my goggle earth so you can get a satellite view of every zone and where the cut offs are. If you want, I can help you out that way.

that's cause there is no public hunting land in that area, its all private land

And also be advised.. just cause there aren't posted signs, doesn't mean you can just walk in and hunt.. Do your homework, and find out which areas are PUBLIC, and/or open to hunting. Just driving around looking for woods that aren't posted isn't the best method to figure out where you do or don't belong.

What Jerseytradhunter says...the area you are looking in is all private and fairly small as well. The county has the biggest parcels (and even they're not that big). The last couple of years the amount of hunters in those woods have doubled if not tripled. Then again, same everywhere I guess!
