My son is becoming quite the hunter over the last few years. This morning @ 6:36 AM he harvested a beautiful 8 point buck in full velvet! One of the benefits of being a youth hunter. We sat together in a double tree stand & he shot his buck all by himself with our crossbow. Some guys go there entire hunting career without getting one in velvet. 21 minutes later I made it a double when I shot a nice Doe. A truly great morning for father & son! September 12th, 2015 in Zone 13. (Somerset County)
