Went shopping for a bow/crossbow this morning and it turns out he was only able to draw 23# so we opted for the crossbow. Picked up a Parker Challenger which seems to fit him pretty good and seems well built. I took s few shoots at 20 to get it sighted close and then turned him loose. I had to cock it for him because the crank was not in stock but he loaded the arrow, learned to keep his fingers, and not take the safety off until his target was acquired. His first group was pretty impressive having never shot s crossbow before. I've created a monster. Special thanks to Archer36 for amazing offer on his crossbow but I think it is just too big for him.
