Sportsman guide buyers club? ?

I buy a lot through them, but if you have a problem their customer service can run from "worst on the planet" to "completely amazing" and everywhere in-between. Some of the Guide Gear (i.e. TSG products) stuff is hit or miss and in a similar vein can be cheap crap or very sturdily built. As for deals, they used to be much better. They've almost completely eliminated the $20 gift card offers (havent seen one in about 6 months) and some other good deals. Generally speaking, unless it's a one-day TSG "flash sale", there's never a point in placing an order unless they're doing free shipping, as free shipping pops up every 10 days or so.

Also, those $10 coupons a few people have spoken of are completely useless, as the other common offers will almost always net you > $10 instead.

I agree with Mr Gomez on many of his points. The coupons usually hardly cover shipping so the free shipping deals are where it's at. I wish midway would offer a halfway (no pun intended) decent shipping price. I'd order from them more often but until the SPG is pretty darn good.

I never had an issue with them, I just had them reship a bow cocking string and some field heads because they weren't in the box with my Steele core Mosin ammo. The girl just apologized and reset the order for those two items, shipped the same day. I order AR parts for my son all the time and never had them tell me it was a restricted item. They shipped me a quad rail forward handle which if anything, that would come up as restricted I would think. This will be my second year as a member this September so I'm not an old customer per say. My father used my account to buy three hand guns so far, all shipped to my FFL with no issues....well worth the money if you order a lot.. My father uses my account every week so it's very well worth it...lol
