i just recently switched from one i closed to both open and boy what a difference my groups have never been so tight!
Do you shoot with one eye closed or both open when it comes to archery

Dominant eye (right) open other closed. I've tried both and find that my groups are consistently tighter with only dominant eye open. It helps me focus on picking a smal spot when shooting game. Aim small, miss small.

Starting to try the both eyes open and starting to get the hang of it. It does take target panic down a bit for me but regardless it all comes down to what your most comfortable with

Been trying with two eyes open, but habits are hard to break and I've been shooting with one eye since I've been hunting. too late to switch for me - although, with the way I missed last year, you would think I was shooting with both eyes closed [smirk].

bow, one eye open....right hand shooter, left eye dominant...both eyes open for handgun,shotgun and rifle

After reading this thread and the comments, I went outside to test each method...
One eye opened --------> half inch right on plain from center.
Two eyes opened ---------> neighbors shed about 8yrds from center
Both eyes closed ---------> lost arrow
Always used just on eye opened but everyone's different is the answer to the question.
