It is a little spooky for new people in the woods after dark in Ocean County. I have heard lots of packs howling. I hunt them so I like hearing them but I get how someone could be scared. But this sounds like a nut job to me

How come that don't happen to me when I have my AR-15???
So its not like the yotes were under her tree trying to kill her or anything? Why didnt she just climb down and go?
Yotes in my area are really hard to be seen (even harder to kill), they are smart and spook easy. If one sees me most times they turn and run.
Has a yote ever attacked somebody?

HUNT THE PINES and walk out after dark I would say 75% of the time you will hear them and not just one. I plan on chasing them this year with night permit!

That's right. The woman was "vacationing" at The Keswick, which is a "recovery" center. She probably wasn't much of a hiker, probably more of a stumble-arounder. She saw two mangy yotes, imagined a pack of rabid coywolves and headed up the tree
