Well its happened again, I had my lock-on out at Colliers Mills all season and it is now gone. I had it locked up and they just cut the chain and took it. They were nice enough to litter and leave the chain on the ground by the tree. I used to hunt in the area right off rt 528. I is really a shame that fellow hunters can't be trusted. Just figured I would sen out a post to warn others to be careful. My only hope is that when the scumbag goes to use my stand he falls and breaks his shooting arm.

amazing that even a low-life scumbag would steal a stand. Must a human lower themselves so much that he would steal a fellow hunter's stand? Why wouldn't he put the same effort at his job and work overtime make some extra money and BUY the friggin' stand like the rest of us do. I wish he falls from it. This is the same person that if someone would then steal the stand from him he would make a big stink about it. [down][down]

Get a clinber and carry it in and out every time. That's what I've done and now no more stolen stands.
that is what I do,it is easy and I will never have one stolen

Well easier said than done with climbers. I take it neither of you have ever hunted the Mill :)

Climbers just aren't a good option for most areas...not many straight trees...and the ones that are straight, you'll be cutting limbs for half the morning to get up to your desired height.

I always use a climber and wouldn't think of leaving it overnight.

BTW, the loser that took your stand... I wouldn't go calling them a hunter. It would be more like D!ckless wonder.

Totally Sucks!

It will be on ebay in a week or so.

That is where all the stands go after they are stoien.
