Hello everyone,

I'm looking to sell my 1997 Doge Ram 2500. I have used it to go to and from work for the past 5 years 5 miles away from my house- and to fish on the weekends. It runs, but it needs repairs.

I have a lot of pictures- so all of those interested in additional pictures- please send me a private message or an email at- podobed45@hotmail.com

Specs-

1997
Dodge Ram 2500
192k miles
V8 5.9l
Extended Bed
Lift Kit (was on when I purhased the vehicle)
Power windows, power locks
new BF Goodrich AT tires- Purchased in October, drove it until November.
Automatic with overdrive
manual 4 wheel drive

Interior-

Driver side seat torn- I have a camo seat cover on it
Headliner- torn- needs to be replaced
Passenger- no problems

Tailgate-

Custom tailgate artwork. (was on the when I purchased the vehicle) You'll either like it or hate it. It's not my style, but I didn't want to bother replacing it.

Rear Bumper-

Rusty- has holes.

Exhaust-

The hangers rusted off so I rehung the exhaust. Might need to be rehung.

What i have replaced in 6 years so far

- oil line
-fuel line
-brakes
-tires- in October. And only drove it a month before the power steering leaked. Very expensive due to the over sized tires due to the lift kit. Spent $1000 on the tires.

Other than that it has driven remarkably well.

Mechanical Problems-

1. Needs a new power steering hose/line. It sprung a leek in November and I"ve been too busy to replace it. The only reason I'm not driving it now.
2. Failed Inspection in November- first time in all of my ownership- I believe it was in part due to it being almost empty of gas and oil- plus the exhaust was rehung improperly when I took it through to be inspected.
3. Cosmetics- it isn't pretty. It has rust in the bed, the rear bumper- the driver side panels. Interior is torn and carpets need to be cleaned.

Positives-

1. Runs well and always has.
2. Great 4 wheel drive for snow
3. Lift kit- great for hunting/fishing. Saved my underbody more than 1 time.
4. Never been in an accident
5. Long Bed

The truck has done pretty well for me, I didn't expect to get nearly the amount of quality time I did. And even now- while it has a lot of cosmetic damage- it has very few mechanical problems.

Located- Warren County
pm or email for more information/ more pictures-

Asking $2200 OBO

I am looking to sell this truck quickly- so if you have a reasonable offer, I'm willing to entertain it.
